The new group Managing director of state-run Nigerian National Petroleum
Corporation (NNPC), Emmanuel Kachikwu says that he has not suggested or
directed anyone to fire 1,000 workers of the corporation.
Kachikwu disclosed this in a meeting with both PENGASSAN and NUPENG unions of the corporation in Abuja.
He has informed the unions that at no point did he suggest or direct anyone to fire over 1000.
