This is to inform staff, students, other members of the University
community and especially students in the Continuing Education Programme
(CEP), ISLT and the Weekend Degree programmes that the university
management is in receipt of 4,815 exclusion letters from the National
Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Headquarters in Abuja.
It would be recalled that the university management had, through the
university official bulletin S.E. VOL. XXIV NO. 42, Wednesday, June 7,
2015, informed our students the reasons for the delay in the issuance of
the exclusion letters and pleaded with them to show understanding;
while the issue is vigorously pursued by the University.
As stated above, the cherry news now is that 4,815 exclusion letters are
now available for collection at the Students’ Affairs Office as from
Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10.00 am daily. For the avoidance of doubt,
the following programmes are affected.
1. ISLT
2. Sandwich Programme
3. Continuing Education Programme (CEP)
4. Weekend Programme
5. Agbor Centre
6. Warri Centre
7. Lagos Centre
The University management wishes to seize this opportunity to commend
our esteemed students for their patience and understanding and for
reposing confidence on the University Authority when assurances were
given to them.
